- Yogurt (Curd) (دہی)
- Biryani Masala (بِریانی مصالحہ)

Method of Cooking
1. Rinse the Basmati Rice (چاول کو دھو لیں) until water runs clear, soak for 20 minutes, then drain.
2. Parboil the rice (چاول کو آدھا اُبال لیں) with bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom, then drain and set aside.
3. In a large pan, heat ghee/oil and fry onions (پیاز کو سنہری کریں) until golden brown. Remove half for garnishing.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste, chopped vegetables, tomatoes, green chilies, and sauté (ادرک لہسن کا پیسٹ، سبزیوں کو بھون لیں).
5. Stir in the biryani masala, red chili, turmeric powders, and salt. Add yogurt and cook (مصالحے اور دہی کے ساتھ پکائیں) until veggies are tender.
6. Layer the cooked veggies and parboiled rice in a heavy-bottomed pot. Sprinkle saffron milk, fried onions, mint, cilantro, and lemon juice.
7. Cover and cook on low heat (دَم پر رکھ دیں) for 20 minutes until the aroma wafts through.
